I am a writer and a reader, and believe in the power of words and images to make a difference. I make a basic living helping other people's words look good, and need to express my ideas in my own words and images to keep sane. I am also a father: my two young sons are currently the joy and challenge of my life, and I'm loving it.

So, you're the immortal hand or eye that framed its fearful symmetry. That's a bloody fine cake. Happy birthday to your young 'un, and many more.
That's AMAZING. Wow. I am so impressed. Happy birthday to Jamie. I hope he enjoys the full Oedipal throes of four - Freud was onto something about a huge violent internal drama occurring around this age, that's for sure.
