The anti-nuclear response grows
I concurr:
"to stand up and trumpet nuclear power as though it is on par with truly environmentally friendly options that - though sometimes less aesthetically pleasing - don't make our children glow in the dark is nothing short of idiotic." Acoustic Dad's BlogIt's nice to see the response in the Australian blogosphere is growing. And it is nice to see the Australian blogs tagging tool works! It led me to Acoustic Dad.
For reference sake, the trumpeting is being done by Howard and nuclear industry cronies. See Howard himself, and here and here.

Hi Mark, Fantastic blog you have here! I've spent entirely too much time - at work no less - going back through your archives to read the different stories and pieces you've written. Still only made it to May but will come back later and keep going.
It's nice to find someone else with a multi-faceted blogging style. I can never seem to stick to one topic...
Anyway thanks for the plug. I'm still amazed with what "Honest" John is willing to throw out for the sake of his own agenda. I'd love to hear him explain how his pre-Iraq fear-mongering was justified where the anti-nuclear power one isn't. Seems as if it's only justifiable when he's doing it.
Hi Mike, thanks for the kind words. I know what you mean about 'eclectic' blogging. It makes it harder to focus on some things, like nuclear power, when there's so much out there...
But it is so important, and getting increasingly urgent, to say something! Isn't it?
